Webware, a CNET site, has announced the results of their poll to determine the “top 100 Webware sites for 2007.”
I didn’t participate in the poll but thought I would take a quick look to see which of these sites/tools I use.
Browsing: Internet Explorer and Firefox.
Communications: Gmail.
Community: MySpace, DeviantArt. I’m on LinkedIn somewhere, but I wouldn’t say that I use it.
Data: Google, YouSentIt
Entertainment: None. I guess I need to get out more.
Media: YouTube.
Mobile: None. I use my phone to make calls, silly me.
Productivity: eBay, Amazon, PayPal, Google Docs and Spreadsheets, Google Calendar, Google AdSense. Wow, I hit a bunch on that one. I guess I’m very productive.
Publishing: WordPress, Google Analytics,
Reference: Wikipedia, Google Maps, IMDB, WebMD, Geni.
So obviously there is a lot more stuff out there that I should check out. And of course, there is other stuff I am using that didn’t make the top of the list. We’ll be talking about all of that in the days ahead. So what are you using?
